A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Delaware County is holding a ticket worth nearly $300,000.
Lottery officials announced Wednesday that a progressive top prize-winning ticket for the Golden Vault Fast Play game, valued at $293,466, was purchased on Tuesday, September 2, at Fresh N’ Easy, located at 3225 Chichester Avenue in Upper Chichester Township.
The convenience store will also benefit from the sale, receiving a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Golden Vault is a $10 Fast Play game in which the progressive jackpot starts at $175,000 and increases until it is claimed. Unlike traditional draw games, Fast Play tickets print instantly from a Lottery terminal or touchscreen vending machine, with results revealed right away—no scratching or waiting required.
Players can check their tickets by reviewing them directly, scanning them at a Lottery retailer, or using the Ticket Checker tool on the official Pennsylvania Lottery app.
Winners are urged to sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to begin the claims process. Prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase, and any winnings above $5,000 are subject to standard tax withholdings.
The Pennsylvania Lottery also used the announcement to highlight Responsible Gaming Education Month this September. The initiative promotes safe play and provides resources for individuals who may experience gambling-related challenges.

Since its inception in 1972, the Pennsylvania Lottery has generated over $37.2 billion to fund services for older residents, including property tax and rent rebates, transportation programs, prescription assistance, and support for senior centers.
