Nick Sirianni and the Eagles came to terms on what the club is calling a "multi-year extension" Monday.

Whether it was a collapse down the stretch of the 2024 season or late-game jawing with fans after a too-close-for-comfort win over the Cleveland Browns last October, there have been times in the not-so-distant past where it's felt like Sirianni's seat was very warm.
But it's funny what a 40-22 Super Bowl win will do for your job security.
Despite not calling plays on either side of the ball and the often unconventional manner he does his job in, it's hard to argue with the results that Sirianni has gotten since becoming the head coach of the Eagles in 2021. In four seasons on the job, Sirianni has a 48-23 regular-season record, with two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl title.
Certainly, he's benefitted from a pretty incredible run by general manager Howie Roseman, and it's fair to wonder how many other coaches in the sport would have won a Super Bowl if given the chance to lead this past year's Eagles team. But Sirianni has done a lot of winning over four seasons, and will continue to get the chance to do more for the foreseeable future.
