The Upper Darby Arts Foundation is accepting applications for a director of development to lead and manage the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
The Director of Development will be responsible for generating revenue through a variety of channels, including donor cultivation, sponsorship opportunities, and grant acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts and education, possess strong relationship-building skills, and have a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising.
The Upper Darby Arts and Education Foundation is a nonprofit that supports a variety of programs that promote arts education, creativity, and access to the arts for all, particularly underserved populations. UDAEF is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and community engagement.
The director of development would be responsible for the Foundation’s annual fundraising plan, including major gifts, individual giving campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and grant writing. The director also expected to form and maintain long-term relationships with donors and sponsors, and to work closely with the Executive Director and Program Leaders to set strategic goals for the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree, with advanced degree preferred. The applicant should have a minimum of three to five years of progressive fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector, with demonstrated success in securing major gifts, sponsorships, and grants.
The position offers a salary of $55,000 to $60,000, depending on experience, as well as a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
