Are you looking for ways to chase the winter blues away? This is another great week for fun indoor events in the Philadelphia region.

ZenDog is performing at Well Crafted Beer Company. and there will be a retro 90’s party in North Wales. If books are more your family’s jam, then check out the fireside reading of a new children’s book in Bucks County. This week Wicked fans can also enjoy a special drag trivia night.

Looking for some much-needed Zen? The SALTability Retreat & Boutique is hosting a special yoga session in their salt cave to help you relax and focus on your goals for the new year.

If you are devoted foodie, you won’t want to miss the last few days of the Center City District Restaurant Week in downtown Philly. There will also be plenty local live music at popular hangouts like the Crooked Eye Brewery and Tavola Restaurant and Bar.


Rock it out with ZenDog

Grateful Dead tribute band ZenDog will be serving up some of the classic tunes of the Grateful Dead. Deadheads will love hearing their favorite songs while enjoying some delicious brews at Well Crafted Beer Company.

The party starts on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. at its Lansdale location. Tickets are $10.

90’s dance party in North Wales

Kick it old school with the 90’s beats you love at Ten7 Brewing Company on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. Dig out all your 90’s gear and come ready to dress to impress. DJ Chris will be providing the time machine back to one of your favorite decades.

Center City District Restaurant Week

Explore the cutting-edge Philadelphia scene of cuisine during this year’s Center City District Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will be offering special discounts in honor of the celebration until Saturday, Feb. 1, so there is still time to make reservations. Diners will have the choice between three-course, prix-fixe dinners for just $40 or $60, or a two-course lunch for $20.

“Feral Warrior” fireside reading and book signing

This free children’s book reading and signing on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. will be held at Moravian Pottery & Tile Works. Local author and artist Melissa Matarese will read from her debut children’s book, “Feral Warrior & the Golden Sticks” about a brave little squirrel on a transformative journey. Your kids will love immersing themselves in the squirrel’s adventure while sitting snug and comfortable by the fire.

Afterwards there will be art activities for the children, refreshments, and a chance to meet with Matarese and get your book signed.

A Wicked Drag Trivia Night

Take a midweek break from the winter doldrums with a special drag trivia night all about your favorite fandom. On Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m., Gypsy Blu will be hosting A Wicked Drag Trivia Night.
