No injuries reported, cause of fire under investigation
The Upper Darby Fire Department responded to a fire at a home in the 200 block of Maypole Road near Walnut Street at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Additional units from Garrettford-Drexel Hill, Collingdale, Darby, Lanbsdowne, Manoa and Yeadon fire companies also responded. Radio traffic indicates the building had smoke an fire on the roof and that that fire was brought under control around 1 a.m.
According to a statement posted by the Upper Darby Fire Company, there were no injuries and the fire remains under investigation.
