Position pays $45 a day for morning and afternoon shift
Haverford is hiring school crossing guards, according to an announcement posted by the township police department.
Crossing guards are paid $45 a day and work an hour and a half in the morning and an hour and a half in the afternoon Monday through Friday.
Crossing guards must have their own transportation and be able to work outdoors during the school year.
Applications are available at the Haverford Township Police Station, 1010 Darby Road in Havertown.
