Detours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 17 through
Aqua Pennsylvania will perform water main construction on Providence Road in Upper Darby Township and Yeadon Borough, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Friday, Jan. 17, through Friday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Providence Road is scheduled to be closed and detoured weekdays between Hilldale Road and Lansdowne Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Oak Avenue, Baltimore Avenue, and Lansdowne Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
