Tommy Conwell has career spanning four decades, multiple genres
The Kelly Music Center in Havertown will host a solo performance by Tommy Conwell on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers broke onto the Philadelphia music scene in 1984 debuting at JC Dobbs at 3rd and South.
The band released an independent album, Walking on the Water, in 1987 and two albums for Columbia records, 1988's Rumble and 1990's Guitar Trouble. Rumble yielded a number one hit on the Billboard Album Rock chart, “I'm Not Your Man.”
Conwell began his solo career in the 2000s, performing in genres including but not limited to jazz, oldies, Irish, classic rock, rat pack, folk, and punk ever since. He still performs with the Young Rumblers who released Showboats and Grandstanders in 2019, and down the shore with Tommy Conwell and the Pints, his four piece rock and roll band formed in 2024.

The Kelly Music Center is at 4 E. Eagle Road, Havertown. Free parking in Oakmont municipal lot behind the Kelly Center off Darby Road after 6pm.
