Young area artists will perform next week in Haverford at Student Stage at the Kelly Music Center.
Singers and songwriters in elementary school through college will get an opportunity to perform before a live audience. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.
Addison Connelly is a senior at Haverford High School. She loves listening to music and collecting records. She has been working at the Kelly Center for two years.
Maura Dougherty is a student at Immaculata University. She is a music therapy major with a voice primary. Maura has performed in The Wizard of Oz and 110 in the Shade musicals. Maura is also involved in Immaculata’s acapella group and cue and curtain club which is Immaculata's theater program.
Tucker Weiss is a 12 year old singer-songwriter from Delaware County who performs a variety of original and cover songs on acoustic and electric guitar. Tucker has been studying guitar for 8 years and drums for 3 years. He has been featured playing guitar and singing his original songs on FOX29, CBS3, and PHL17 television programs, as well as at local arts and music shows. Tucker has been performing with the Philadelphia Boys Choir the past three years, including showcase performances at the Kimmel Center, Citizen’s Bank Park, Wells Fargo Center, and other venues across the region.
This If Anything are all 12th graders at Haverford High School. Special friends of Kelly Center Techs. Robert Harris- vocalist, Luke Forde- Guitarist, Nathan Grzesik- Bassist , Vincent Masciantonio- Drummer.
BYOB is welcome for an additional $5. donation per drinker. Must be 21 to consume alcohol. Disposable cups and ice provided.
