If President Donald Trump and the White House invite the Eagles to celebrate their Super Bowl title, the team would attend according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk:
"Contrary to a report from nearly three weeks ago that the Eagles had decided not to visit the White House if they win the Super Bowl, a source with direct knowledge of the team’s plans tells PFT that the Eagles will show up, if invited.
"Per the source, the Eagles would be honored to attend. The source adds that rejecting an invitation was never considered."
As Florio noted, it takes two to tango. The Eagles will accept an invitation if one is extended to them. There's not yet any indication that the White House has invited the Eagles, who defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl earlier this month.
While it's safe to say from Florio's reporting that owner Jeffrey Lurie and head coach Nick Sirianni would attend if Trump's White House invites the Eagles, individual players could choose to opt out if they aren't fond of the president or have a conflicting event.
The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry!
The Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, which came during Trump's first term as president. However, they didn't wind up going to the White House to celebrate. ESPN's Don Van Natta reported at the time that "five or fewer Eagles players committed to attend the White House ceremony." Trump instead held an event that he deemed "A Celebration of America."
