The Foundation for Delaware County will host a seminar March 18 to help non-profits learn to maximize their community engagement.
Digital fundraising expert Dana Snyder will share fresh, actionable strategies to inspire donors to give through Delco Gives and transition them into committed, recurring supporters afterward. Participants will learn how to craft compelling digital campaigns that excite supporters in the lead-up to the Giving Day, create urgency that drives donations in the moment, and implement follow-up strategies that encourage first-time donors to stick around for the long haul.
The seminar will run from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. March 18 at Fred P. Meagher Theatre, Bruder Life Center Building Neumann University Two Neumann Dr, Aston. The price is $15 and registration is available online.
The seminar is a prelude to the second annual Delco Gives, a county-wide day of giving and community celebration, hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, where people make a donation to their favorite nonprofits (or peruse new ones). Delco Gives is more than just a fundraising event; it's a celebration of the Delco generosity and community spirit.
Each donation is eligible for bonus money provided by the Foundation, and cash prizes sponsored by local businesses are given out from May 8-9, 2025. During the inaugural Delco Gives Day on May 8 - 9, 2024 more than $1.7million was raised for 281 nonprofits.
