Atlantic City has super options to watch the big game

There's an alternative to dropping $6,000 a ticket for the visceral thrill fans will receive while experiencing the Eagles play the Chiefs on Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans. 

Atlantic City isn't the Big Easy but the vibes will be intense and potentially celebratory at a variety of casinos.It's an ideal spot for those looking to wager on who wins the coin flip or attempting to win the myriad of parlays.

There are plenty of options for food and libations in Atlantic City.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Backstage Cafe is the Super Bowl hotspot at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The game will be featured on 23 large high-definition televisions. An array of game day specials will be served. 

Five domestic bottled beers are $25. Twenty-five bottled domestic beers are $100. Three appetizers for $35 and four appetizers for $45. Options include nachos, wings and loaded tater tots.

Ocean Casino Resort

Ocean Casino Resort has a number of venues that are focusing on the big game. The Gallery Bar, Book & Games and Nola's Bar & Lounge will serve food from 4 to 9 p.m. 

The kitchen will be open from 4 to 10 p.m at the gastropub The Villain and the Saint. Specialty cocktails will be served at each watering hole.

Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa

The Borgata's Premier Nightclub will host a buffet, which is $89, with all-night drink specials with the Super Bowl displayed on LED TVs. 

The Borgata's BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar offers a football themed menu with drink specials.

Bally's Atlantic City

Bally's The Yard will feature a buffet of football favorites, such as wings and nachos. There is no charge for admission. The buffet is $35 per person.

"We want to make sure that every fan has the opportunity to enjoy The Big Game in a vibrant atmosphere," Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager for Bally’s Paul Juliano said. "The Yard allows us to accommodate more guests in an outstanding venue filled with great food, drinks, and camaraderie."

Harrah's Atlantic City

Who else can host the "Super Bowl Splash" but The Pool at Harrah's? 

The party from 4 to 10 p.m. features a tailgate set to start at 6 p.m., which includes a buffet, prizes, games, a DJ and jersey giveaways. There's an all-you can-eat buffet for $30.

Resorts Atlantic City

"Food, fun and drinks" is the slogan from Resorts. More than 50 TVs will carry the game at Margaritaville & Landshark Bar & Grill, Bar One and DraftKings Sportsbook, which features ultra-high-definition LED video walls.

Tropicana Atlantic City

Tropicana's The Royce Social Hall will host the "Big Game Party."  

It's $89 for a buffet and open bar. Multiple big screens will feature the game.

Golden Nugget

The Sportsbook, which reopened last month, is the place to be at the Golden Nugget.  

There are more than 50 high-definition televisions and five large video walls. Chow down on wings, nachos and mozzarella sticks.

Caesars Atlantic City

It's all about the hours before the Super Bowl at Caesars, which is presenting a Tailgate Game Day Party at Boardwalk Saloon from 3 to 6 p.m. 

Play large-format games like Jenga and Connect Four while downing brews. There's an open bar and buffet from 4 to 6 p.m for $50.

If the Eagles win their second Super Bowl in franchise history, the party will continue after 10 p.m.

Regardless of the outcome it should be an epic game. Why not catch it in a vibrant environment surrounded by enthusiastic fans, cold brews and sportsbooks?
