Upper Darby schools will open two hours late on Monday, Feb. 9, in light of the Philadelphia Eagles playing in the Super Bowl Feb. 9.
In the event of an Eagles win, the school district might also adjust its schedule to accommodate the victory parad
Please refer to the following schedules for K-8 and Upper Darby High School:
Grades K-8:
Elementary and middle school students, teachers and all support staff will report to school buildings on a 2-hour delay.
All principals will follow up with this communication and provide an update on their 2-hour late start schedule.
Upper Darby High School:
Students should follow their regular school schedule and report to school by 9:45 a.m. for Block 1 (if they have a Block 1 class).
All high school teachers and administrators are expected to report to their buildings on Feb. 10 by 9:10 a.m.
Students who participate in our low-incidence programs will report on a 2-hour delay (9:30 start time).
Morning Career and Technical Education at the DCIU is canceled. Afternoon Career and Technical Education at the DCIU will run as regularly scheduled.
Administration Office Staff
All administration office staff will report to the building on a 2-hour delay.
Transportation:
All school transportation services for Upper Darby School District students will operate on a 2-hour delayed schedule for Feb. 10th, 2025.
All school transportation services for charter, private, and parochial schools will be provided on time.
