A police chase that began in Wilmington, Delaware, ended in Pennsylvania Thursday afternoon after the suspect vehicle struck two other cars and became disabled on I-95 Northbound.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Wilmington Police were pursuing a black Honda Accord when the vehicle entered Pennsylvania around 3:25 p.m. on August 14. While fleeing, the Accord struck two vehicles on I-95 Northbound before coming to a stop at mile marker 4.4, just north of the Commodore Barry Bridge.
Wilmington officers apprehended the two occupants — identified as Jamar Tywan Warren and Aviaire Evans — and held them until Pennsylvania State Police from the Media station arrived. Investigators later learned the suspects had also rammed a Wilmington Police vehicle during the pursuit in Delaware.
Both men were taken into PSP custody for fugitive from justice charges. Warren, the driver, faces additional Pennsylvania charges related to drugs and the crashes.
