As the NFL's annual league meeting on Monday, the league informed clubs that teams will be permitted to wear their alternate (think Eagles black) or "classic" (think Eagles kelly green) jerseys up to four times during the regular season. Teams were previously limited to their primary uniforms for all but three regular season games.

During the 2024 season, the Birds wore their kelly green uniforms twice and their black uniforms once. In theory, the Birds could wear kelly green four times next season. They could also decide to use black more often, if they are concerned about kelly green overkill.
According to CBS Sports, "the changes come just months after the league extended its partnership with jersey-maker Nike in a deal that now stretches through 2038."

The change does not allow for the introduction of additional alternate or classic jerseys, meaning white Eagles jerseys with Kelly green numbers/accents will remain a dream for the foreseeable future.
