Twice a month, fans of bluegrass music can enjoy – and participate in making – this traditional acoustic music. The Kelly Center Bluegrass Jam is scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m., and all are welcome. The Kelly Center is at 4 E. Eagle Road, Havertown.
The remaining performances this year will be Dec. 3 and Dec. 17.
A “jam” is an open session where musicians can gather to play music, where everyone has a turn to call the tune and everyone gets to play along. The Kelly Center Bluegrass Jam welcomes players and singers at all skill levels to participate at whatever level is comfortable for them.
Free admission for all. Donations appreciated at the Jam or Venmo @Kelly4music or PayPal/Credit Card https://kellycenter.org/contribute/
Drinks are BYOB for guests aged 21 and over.
Free parking is available in the Oakmont Municipal lot behind Kelly Center off Darby Road.
The Kelly Center is operated by Kelly Music for Life, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 pure public charity that supports music education, the arts, and other community initiatives. For more information visit https://kellymusicforlife.org or https://kellycenter.org
