Delaware County Veteran Memorial Association holds annual collection
The Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association is will hold its fifth annual holiday Toys, Food and Clothing Drive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at 4599 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.
All items will be donated to local food banks through the Brandywine SPCA, YMCA, Toys for Toys, and Goodwill. Visitors will also be able to meet with Santa Claus.

For the toy drive, the Association is asking for unused, unwrapped toys.
Food bank items can include non=presishables like peanut butter, canned soup, dry pasta and cereal and canned fruit, meat and vegetables. Household consumer goods like toilet paper, toothpaste, soap and baby diapers are also accepted.
