This holiday season, LumiNature, the Philadelphia Zoo's spectacular winter light show presented by PNC, is back with more than a million twinkling lights across 16 illuminated zones. Running select nights from November 21 to January 4, LumiNature offers guests an interactive journey celebrating wildlife and the planet’s beauty.

New highlights for 2024

This year’s enhancements include exciting new zones:

  • Polar Play: A whimsical, interactive adventure with puppet penguins and arctic foxes.
  • LumiNature 360: A breathtaking 360-degree wildlife-themed light display with interactive elements.
  • Beary Sweet: A candy-themed wonderland featuring glowing gummy bears and sweet photo ops.
  • Wild Flurries: A walk-through zone with snowflakes revealing hidden animal patterns.
  • Peacock Spectacular: Eye-catching photo ops and a mesmerizing peacock light performer.
     Fan favorites return

Beloved displays like the 40-foot Penguin Prismatic, the iconic flamingo tree with 1,500 pink lights, and the jungle-themed Shimmer River are back, now with interactive elements like drum-activated color changes. Visitors can also enjoy the SEASONbration train ride and undersea adventures at Tis the SEAson.

Treats and activities

LumiNature offers festive snacks and drinks, including gourmet popcorn, spiked hot cocoa and s'mores kits. Guests can also enjoy photo ops with Santa on select nights.

Tickets and details

Timed tickets range from $22 to $29 for adults and $18 to $24 for children, with Anytime Tickets available for flexibility. Children under 2 attend for free, and Zoo members receive discounts. Parking is available for an additional fee.
