'Rest' Is the New Ankle Injury, Apparently

Well, this was certainly awkward:

And here's a full transcript, courtesy of the one and only Dave Zangaro:

I am no football expert. But, my years covering the Sixers have trained me in the art of obfuscation.

And this, my friends, is some obfuscation of the highest order.

I mean, PR has to jump in to sweep it back under the rug. But, you can't put the toothpaste back in that tube, brother.

And then, Nick Sirianni actually thought he could get away with "I thought you were talking about somebody else".

How many other players 1) did you have limited in Wednesday's practice due to "rest" whose 2) names were Jalen?

That is what we call seeing the question on the exam, knowing damn well you don't know the answer and writing "6" in the space below the question before moving on. You know there's about a 0.000001% chance you'll get away with it, but it's the best you got.

And if that's the best Sirianni has, we can put that PR training meeting on the Outlook calendar for 9 a.m. on Monday.
