Patients were evacuated from Chester Crozer Hospital on Thursday night as a result of a fire at the hospital, public safety officials said.
Fire, police and Hazamat units were on the scene as of 11 p.m. Thursday night, while patients were being transported to Riddle Hospital, according to radio traffic. No injuries were reported.
Upland Police Department and Fire Department units responded at 10:18 p.m. Thursday for a fire call at Crozer Chest Medical Center at 1 Medical Center Boulevard, Upland, according to dispatch.
The fire started as an electrical fire caused by a water main break, officials said.
Officials indicated that the fire was out as of 10:50 p.m., and that between 20 and 30 patients had been evacuated from the critical care wing.
