The Marple Township Police Department and Delaware County Narcotics Task Force executed search warrants Dec. 6 and arrested 37-year-old Markus Terry Scott of Clifton Heights.
As a result of the search, police seized:
* Loaded Black Taurus 9mm firearm
* Over 300 small, round, pink pills imprinted with “K 56” that resemble Oxycodone Hydrochloride 10 mg, a Schedule 2 controlled substance
* Over 170 white rectangle pills, imprinted with “G3722” that resemble Alprazolam 2 mg, a Schedule 4 controlled substance
* Over 50 round, oblong pills, imprinted with “B974 30” that resemble Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine 30mg, a Schedule 2 controlled substance
* Seven orange, oblong pills, imprinted with “B973 20” Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine 20mg, a Schedule 2 controlled substance
* 14 small, white, round pills, imprinted with “RP 10” that resemble Oxycodone Hydrochloride 10mg, a Schedule 2 controlled substance
* Approximately 155 grams of suspected marijuana
* Approximately 9 grams of suspected cocaine
* Eleven (11) Buprenorphine and Naloxone sublingual films
* A small amount of suspected mushrooms
* Ammunition for firearm
* Bulk drug packaging paraphernalia
* Three digital scales
* A cell phone 1999 Ford Expedition
Bail was set at $500,000 cash and Scott was remanded to Delaware County Prison. On Dec. 13, Scott’s significant other, Ashleymarie Hand, surrendered to Marple Township Police and was charged with conspiracy to the distribution of controlled substances. Hand’s bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000 which was posted on her behalf.
