A Chester man faces murder and related charges after a shooting that led to the deaths of two men on Interstate 95 in Delco in September, state police say.

Police said Marquice N. Pierce, of Chester, has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide, one count of first-degree murder and two counts of third-degree murder, according to the Daily Times. He also faces gun charges and a charge of driving without a license.

Clinton Martin, 29, of Lansdowne, and Joshua Waltz, 33, of Odessa, Del., were killed at about 10 p.m. Sept. 13 in an incident on I95 North just prior to the exit to McDade Boulevard

Martin was found suffering from a gunshot wound in his car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Waltz was found dead under the car.

Police say Martin was shot in the neck sometime before 10 that night, driving on the I-95 ramp to 476 North, just before Exit 1 to MacDade Boulevard, then he crashed into a concrete barrier and guardrail, hitting Walz.

Pierce was denied bail Monday afternoon after arraignment before District Judge Andrew Goldberg, according to the Times. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 20 before Goldberg.
