Tree lighting Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park
Marple will hold its annual Mistletoe Market Place and holiday tree lighting this weekend at Veteran’s Memorial Park.
The event will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, at 354 Lawrence Road, Broomall. The tree-lighting is set for 6 p.m. Saturday.
There will be music and refreshments as well as representatives from community services to meet and greet.
Music in Motion Dance Studio, the Marple Newtown Choir, Jami Music Studios andMarple Band will give performances and local scout troops are placing edible decorations on the trees.
Both nights there will be kid’s activities and crafts. Wrist bands can be purchased ahead of time to avoid lines.
